PAYMENT POLICY FOR SERVICES

Medical bills can be stressful and it is important that the billing process is as transparent as possible.

Direct Patient Care Services:

Medical services are provided and billed through PalliMD, PLLC.  Listed below are the health plans which PalliMD currently contracts with.  These plans set the fee schedule for services.  If your insurance requires a copay, this will be due at the time of service, as well as any outstanding balance.  Payment can be made in the form of cash, check or credit card. Through the secure patient portal you have the ability to pay your balance online.  PalliMD uses Stripe to process your credit card payments.  You may find more information about Stripe at (https://stripe.com/us/payments).

If your health plan is not listed below, PalliMD will be happy to provide your care but it will be unable to file a claim on your behalf. PalliMD will bill you directly based upon a standard fee schedule.  A claim form will be included with your bill which you can submit to your insurance company so they may send reimbursements directly to you.

If you are interested in receiving services remotely (telemedicine), you should check with your insurance plan prior to your appointment to determine whether this service is covered and if it requires prior authorization.  If this service is not covered by your insurance, you will be required to pay at time of appointment with a credit card.   A telemedicine appointment can only occur after an initial face to face visit.

Family/Caregiver Workshop:

The Family/Caregiver Workshop is provided and billed through PalliMD Consulting, LLC.  The workshop typically lasts for one hour with the maximum time allotted per appointment being one and a half hours.  Cost of the workshop is $100 per half hour.
